Sometimes, we get stuck at the point of making a decision about which path, route to take... What's that next best step? And we stay at that point anxious, ruminating about possibilities and still not knowing which one of them will be a better fit. To do something I want or not? What if I don't like it? To agree to this job offer or not? What if there is something else there that I will like better? And this doubting can continue indefinitely, depriving us of energy and sense of well-being. One of the ways to help yourself to move on and get out of this anxious place is to try it. Try one of the possibilities that seems the best for now (even if it is not a perfect choice) and see over time how do you feel while going on that path. Yes, you are still unsure if this will be a fit, but this is the purpose of trying - to find out while exploring it, feeling it, living it. Then, after some time, see if it fits you or satisfies you. Sometimes, we need that experimenting to find out whether something is a good choice for us. And there is risk, of course, that we might not like it, but the risk is not to the point that we are going to be stuck with this choice we don't like forever. We can always stop being on the chosen path and try the alternative.
